Diana has worked in the medical field and fitness industry for over 35 years. She has advanced specializations in sports physiotherapy, manual therapy and exercise prescription, as well as formal training in the areas of wellness, naturopathy, ayurvedic medicine, nutrition and acupuncture. She is the founder/previous owner of the Medi-Club Physiotherapy & Medical Wellness Centre (1997-2009) where she continues to practice as a clinical PT.
As a Sports Physiotherapist she has provided medical services to athletes of all levels, including numerous Canadian National and Professional teams. She was a member of the Canadian Medical Teams for the 2008 & 2004 Olympic Games, 2002 Commonwealth Games, and 1997/1993/1989/1987 Maccabiah Games.
Diana has been teaching yoga since 2000 and practicing yoga therapy since 2002. Her yoga influences are mainly from the schools of Hatha, Ashtanga, Moksha and Anusara. She is a certified Yoga Therapist (Professional Yoga Therapy Institute). She has completed trainings/certifications in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga, Yoga Alignment/Sequencing and Pranayama. She is the founder/director of the Canadian Yoga Therapy Institute and is a faculty member of various yoga teacher training and yoga therapy schools. She teaches medical yoga therapy courses and workshops and runs yoga therapy retreats nationally and internationally.LINKEDIN
